The closest thing that can come to pure distil water is AC drain. Only problem with it is physical impurities so you can try to filter it and its the best alternate to distil water. Most dust particles are filtered by AC filters but there are a lot more tiny particles which can be filtered by tap-water filters or if you can find something better even.

I have been using AC water (without filtering) in my batteries and its been more than a year and batteries are running strong(both UPS and car)
The previous volta battery of my car lasted 3.5 years

Thanku for ur input. However, dre is a lot of doubt related to purity of them. I want to make acid myself.

Search pyro chemicals in this forum, they provide high grade electrolye and have delivery services. You are lucky since they are also based in lahore. Probably they will provide you pure distil water too but do consider the precautions of handling the acid.

If in Lahore then go to model town morr petrol pump ("shell" I think) and can get Pyro in bulk or in 500ml bottles.

Wow ur battery lasted for 3.5 years and still its famous rumor maybe that osaka/volta batteries sucks! I want to make electrolyte myself for filling the battery for the first time after purchase. AC water would take a month to collect that much water..

pyro water costs around 1100 for one carton. that's expensive. it will have around 12-15 litres. I think the number on which I called from the reference of pyro chemical representative at the office quoted me more than actual market price. Pyro chemicals office supplies in bulk to shops..

AGS & EXIDE belong to Chloride Pakistan and they sell drums of distlled water 10 & 20 ltr capacity

To avoid hastle and due to urgency I bought Osaka battery 175 Amps and filled it with Guard oil store situated within metro thokar.niaz baig premises, I took dre word of mouth that its 100 % distilled water made electrolyte from guard company suppliers. Hydrometer was broken so couldn't check gravity. Eid was around the corner, needed btry asap, didn't had time to make electrolyte myself.

Wow this post and today exactly after 8 months this Osaka ***** 175 ampere dumped me, bakcup was low after 7th month....only winter season covered well....Now I have purchased exide n140 AND FILLED WITH Pyro Chemicals prepared electrolyte. My experiments will never finish, well this is the fate of poor Pakistanis. Anyway took word of experts here and it is common impurities are definitely going to impact the electrolysis process. Hope Pyro produces pure electrolyte, who knows this is just bottled same desi acid crap? I took the pyro dealer Rehmat Khokar number from here and it got delivered at 786 motors shop in front of me. The shop is at A block market near Goga Chanay (bhook lag gai). So hoping now atleast battery will give me 1 year life. I have used AGS, Pheonix and Osaka, trying exide for the first time, no battery gave me more than 8 months life. I use a desi UPS 500W maybe that teen ka dabba has some problems, maybe changing UPS might increase life....

you can safely use AGS battery tonic. its 50rs for 1.5liter. I have personally tested it with TDS meter, its impurity level is 0-1ppm

Where it is available for rs 50 per 1.5 litre ? Shopkeepers selling it for rs 70 per liter

Rain water and ac condensed water is true distilled water.

Rain water isnt distilled water it has lots of impurities in it caught up during raining from the air so its better not to use it.

FAIHA Ultra-Pure De-ionized Water at Whole sale rate. 1.5L one PET of 6 bottles We sale at 250 Rs and if you buy from any shop single bottle cost 80 to 100 Rs which is not pure water either. Our water quality is guaranteed TDS will be less than 1 PPM compare to other distilled water producer they give TDS between 10 to 20 PPM which not good for battery.
