how I can improve the fuel consumption of my city idsi 2008 ?
its current average is 10 km/ltr local with AC & 12 km/ltr on highway with AC.

how many km's has your car clocked ? and which oil do you use in it ?
i am using havoline fully synthetic SN ---idsi clocked 135,000 km's

My IDSI has clocked 97500 Kms and on last oil change I was using shell HX7 fully synthetic 5W30 blue and now I am using ZIC 10W40.

got nwb wipers from rawalpindi. They are really fine and of superb quality. Wipes off water very efficiently and soundless.

Full marks to you MBBS on the DIY. I wish I could have done the same. I could only manage to remove air intake manifold n clean with carb cleaner. Wanted to clean IACV but couldn't. (City '12-50k odo)
Btw just curious to know why tappet adjusment? I've heard these engines don't need tappet adjustments, just fuel injector cleaning.

Highroller. You can get the tappets adjusted when you feel the car is heavy even after throttle body and IACV cleaning.
