First paragraph is false there is no such thing exist when nozzle hit the fuel level in ur tank it trips the nozzle for further supply and there is no reverse line in dispenser nozzle and underground fuel tank.
The second paragraph is also wrong tank lorries that carry fuel from depot to filling station are always filled in litters and measured by dip. In depot to depot transport or refinery to depot transport it is measured by temperature also for example if tanker was filled at 42 degrees and delivers to depot at 32 degree a decrease in the temperature is measured and adjusted and not reported short
1 litter means 1 litter if it is measured in 42 degree or in 20 degree for instance if taken true then in the morning u have 40 litters in ur tank and by 3pm congratulations you now have 41 litters in ur tank as it expand and u will run extra 15 kilometres
No at all
Being a petrol pump owner i suggest u people to fill ur tank in afternoon or in the mid night just make sure its quantity and quality is accurate no one will rob u cheers.
In winters i get loss of 700 litters per month at the sale o 400kl of supper
While in summers it raised up to 1500-1900 litters due to evaporation in decanting
Third para is also false whether u dispense at slow or full speed u will get an accurate measure of 1 litter normally when we check our measure we run it on full speed and low speed both to make sure both are accurate in new dispensers measurement is set by codes end electronically and sealed so there is no such things of slow and fast speed all is same in older dispenser it is adjusted manually and sealed whether u put in fast mode or slow mod it will dispense at what measure it is set
Again there is no reverse line of vapour intake if there were any I wouldn't be getting loss of 1500-1900 litters in a month
There is no such shield present in storage tank or tank lorry which take fuel from depot u can check it at any site there is one instrument installed to stop overflowing like if capacity is 15kl and accidentally while decanting u put. 16000 liter then it will stop the decanting process.
Last para there are filters attached in the dispenser which prevents dust etc more over mostly on shell sites the motor used to dispense is submersible which is put in underground tank 1-2 feet above the tank lower boundary so when tank lorry is decanting there are chances but very few that dust particles may come while fuelling for that you must shut ur can engine before fuelling not while decanting or not because when that fuel is dispensing in ur car tank the dust or dirt which is settled in ur tank also comes up and injected in to ur fuel supply lines and fuel filter resulting a choked fuel filter in few thousand kilometres
So alway turn off ur engine before fuelling as it may damage ur fuelling system early and also a security hazard
Thanks
