sir jee there's just one problem...
I have seen countless restaurants shut down due to many factors :
-khaney main makhi gir gayi etc, restaurant badnaam, people dont come now.
-its not gonna operate at 100% capacity as soon as you open it.
-you're gonna need a place where there is exposure. Such places dont cost like 50k a month, its more like several lacs. And you talk about defence, good commercial area is tough to find there (its already taken, the good stuff) and once you find some good place, its usually up for sale at 10 crore lol. or rent 5lacs/month etc...
-dont think about returns before you invest, think about how to operate the business in day to day operation, how to do it efficiently, and then consider the profits...
-you're gonna need good staff, cheff etc. someone who doesnt know these things may hire a not so good chef and run into problems...
-first year return is always much lesser, due to unexpected costs. You should have enough cash to cover all costs for atleast 6 months....
-there's always a risk of little success or loss. So you have to be prepared. You have probably only heard of the restaurant business success stories, but in recent times I have seen a large number of failures in this business....People come to this business thinking its easy money with little spare cash and f[_]k up and shut down...
( and hotel is something different from restaurant, you were talking restaurant, hotel business has little scope at small level )
