Drawbacks for Punjab resident to buy car from Karachi/ sindh

I want to buy car from Karachi to use in punjab. What are the drawbacks of buying such car and what should i look while buying such car?
What is the procedure of transfer of ownership and how much resale value is affected by sindh registration

If you are living in South Punjab then its going to be normal. Infact Sindh registered cars are liked and preferred in Southern Punjab. But if you are living in Northern Punjab then give up the idea of buying a Sindh registered car.
It is almost impossible to sell Sindh registered car in Northern Punjab. Their market price is significantly lesser than Punjab registered cars and their resale is also very slow even if its a Mehran. It will take months to even sell a Mehran in Punjab if its Sindh registered. So not worth it at all !!!
Procedure of transfer has changed and I guess they have also initiated biometric system. Lets wait until someone shares this information.

well I see no issues.

My first Crown was Sindh registered (sold within Lahore).
My Altis was Sindh registered (a friend from Peshawar bought it).
(Both were daily driven vehicles in Lahore with original number plates).

The only backdraw of running Sindh registered vehicles in Punjab is the slightly less price of vehicle.

Suppose if Punjab registered vehicle price is 5 mil in Lahore, then same vehicle but registered in Karachi would be 50K less. (Same happens with Punjab registered Vehicles in Sindh)

Means you buy it like slightly cheap and you will sell it slightly cheap again. So the equation is balanced. But make sure that it has original number plates and file is perfect too.

There are lot of agents in Lahore who are giving services to transfer the ownership of Sindh registered vehicles. Its easy.

Never owned a Sindh plate car but the one worry that I would have would be how many times I would get stopped extra for having a Sindh number plate? I do not see any issues other than that
