A friend of mine has 1.3L Manual 2015 City. It does not have the ECO light as well

By looking at the Honda website I can tell that only Aspire versions have the ECO light

It is just an indication that in current gear and at current speed and RPMs car is consuming very less fuel and to get the maximum fuel average we should keep the car going as it is at that moment. That way you will not be over pushing the paddle and will be able to keep the car at a decent constant speed.

I have noticed that under the circumstances car is doing 16+ km/l the light comes on. If you see the picture I posted above the car is doing 24km/l at the moment hence the light came on

what is average mileage you get, driving in city? I have 2019 aspire 1.5, am still discovering the car but dont know how to get the eco system working more frequently. it do come on the screen but only for few moments and as soon as i hit the paddle it goes away ....

wanted to know what is the mileage you get for aspire 1.5 in normal course.

Eco light is just a marketing gimmick. There’s no economy mode in the car. They are just fooling people with an eco light. That appears when you leave the gas paddle and appear as soon as you press the paddle.
