Used tcl and display was good can't comment on ecostar, best way isto visit metro and compare them side by side.

Nice but brother if he compared in Metro i am sure all will like SONY and SAMSUNG.

Samsung if in your budget is better.I am using samsung since two years.Nice functions and results.
SOny is best but it was not in my range.

Quality is awesome, are the blacks as deep as better branded panels? Perhaps not but nor is the price, am I happy with my decision? Hell yes

my advice would be NOT to go a smart TV instead get a normal TV and get a smart TV device, you can check

1. Roku 3 / Roku 4
2. WD Cinema
3. Xiaomi Sound Bar (best option)

bhai i make cinema's for living and this is the first time i have heard that a SD 480p signal can be converted to 1080p HD using a wire waisay Go Live is fazool it does not let you install any apps and the installed apps are meh ... no matter which chineese brand you go for, their smart WILL suck ... best smart interface i have seen and experienced is from LG but you gotta pay a lot of $'s for that

TCL's picture quality is great but its remote has very low quality and light weight as well.Secondly the remote buttons do not work exactly when you press them,either you're in menu or switching between channels,it takes 1,2 seconds of your patience.

Lastly,you can flip 1 channel at a time unlike SONY.

Better to Get SONY once and for all

Tcl is rebranded Nobel tvs..

I got a good offer from nobel and bought nobel TV.. It was the worst, forget about picture tube warranty after a few years couldn't even find nobel workshop..

Remotes were the worst had to buy 3 of them and after that they switched to TLC..

So from that days I stopped experimenting

Here is my setup

Ecostar 50" Full HD TV (49,999/-)
Roku 3 (I got it for 13k around 2 years back i think)
Storm Fiber HD Box (4500/-)

now the only thing which these LED's lack (no matter which brand you go for) is decent speakers, for that i have two options

1. Xiaomi Smart TV Sound Bar (4k media player and sound bar)
2. Shift my sound setup from computer room to bedroom (Onkyo Receiver attached to Polk Audio 5.1 system)

I would suggest you go for a non smart TV and get one of the dozen available smart TV box to convert your TV into smart

Good to some 1 who does research before initiating many of out here go for word of mouth yes my self also 1 of those who go for samsung or lg all the time.
I will be getting married soon planning for something entertaining in my room as i m a big a real big fan or a freak for movies and games, playing them on huge screen is smthing i really die for.

My question
I need the below things to be fulfilled in a budget

1.Screen 50" or +
2.Smart Tv must option to connect my smart phone
I have SP 2tb so space for me is no issue for HD Movies at all
3. 3D and additional not must
4. Music System Currently running Homethater D.D 7.1 By Lg

Need to fulfill the above

Congratulations on getting married, I have a Polk Audio 5.1 system attached to a Onkyo receiver for my sound, any LCD/LED sound is mediocre at best, Smart and 3D are useless in my opinion, better option would be to get non smart TV and get a WDTV Live or Roku or a Rasberry Pi based media box to do the job, I personally have been using Roku 3 for 2 years or so and it gets everything done for me, Now coming to 3D few people might find my statement questionable but its all comes down to personal preferences, like i mentioned i make cinemas for living and i deal with huge scale 3D projectors and audio visual equipment on daily basis so for home these gizmo's are useless for me

You can get Samsung for 19k now Anyhow if you want to get bigger and cheap leds then TCL is a better option. Its either TCL or Changhong Ruba but not eco star
