Engine Assembly Toyota passo

My Toyota Passo engine has gone weak and blowing white smoke if accelerator is pressed hard. Engine oil burns up too (it's happening since December 2016)). Went to a mechanic and he suggested repair work of Engine assembly which included Rings and if required Pistons too.
My old mechanic (trusted one) suggested to replace present engine assembly with a new one , as repair work isn't worth according to him.
Both costs around 20k to 35k.
Problem started when i consecutively changed oil grades from Havolune formula to Kixx(5W 40) to Zic (10w 40).

Need advice.
1. If i should change the engine assembly from where i should get it.
2. Is there any tip to check validity of Kaabli Assembly?
3. Any credible mechanic in Rawalpindi/Islamabad
4. Should repair work be done ?

White smoke is due to bad head gasket.
Blue smoke means leakage of oil inside the chamber.
Are you sure rings and valves seals are weak? That can be a bad pcv valve.

I'm not sure. This is what mechanic tells me. Going through pakwheels forum i noticed toyota passo has this issue. Ppl have suggested fol
1. Check pcv valve
2. Compression testing ( never seen anyone doing in Rawalpindi)
3. Head gasket
It seems white smoke, I'll see once again.
What do you suggest?

Check PCV.
Do a compression test.
Is coolant decreases or oil comes inside the radiator?

Yes coolant did decrease and there was white smoke coming out of AC vents every now and then (even when AC was off). An AC mechanic told me its due to leakage of coolant from AC radiator located at the back of AC vents (inside the car). He disconnected the pipe that carries hot water from engine to the AC radiator (which is a norm in cars like cultus and mehran). It has solved 95% of the problem. But coolant still decreases but very little.

What is the sign of oil inside radiator?

It means headgasket is leak.

Same problem and question i was facing.
If someone gives u guaranty that engine is zero meter (which is not going to happen) then fo for assembly otherwise best is to replace the rings which will cost you 14K. i have done the work satisfactorily on 13 Dec .... Labour 6K, rings 2.4K, Oil change 3K and rest amount is for minor things like Matti ka thail and rigmall etc.... If interested i can tell u the mechanic he will open and dissemble complete engine infront of you and will take you along for purchasing of rings.

Yes please let me know from where you've repaired your engine. Is the mechanic old and trusted one or just someone referred you? I'm asking all this because his repair work is only going to let you know it's quality in summers when AC is on and weather is hot humid. In that kind of environment the engineer quality is tested.
