Engine belt making noise and heater

might be possible but i dont think coz cultus parts are easily available as mehran might be of bad quality

what can be said local but 2c is also telling something informative get the belt cchekd maybe the size is creating problem but i have a feeling that belt time has run out get it replaced

yeah i noted that point that can b cause of this sound as lose belt can only make sounds like chee chee .. and ur point is also valid as the local stuff dnt have good quality...

check the alternator/water pump belt - put a very good quality one there and ensure the tension is correct, you would need to reset the tension in about 2 months on a new belt, Be very sure the width of the belt is perfect for your application - there are some cheap chinese garbage belts out there that dont fit any scale. The squeal you hear is the alternator loading up to charge the battery after startup. Also check the SG and charge of your battery, if its too low the alternator would be working overtime.

For the heater you need a thermostat valve for it to function as a heater. Its a pretty cheap device and is available brand new, the thermoswitch is also available brand new from any Suzuki shop/dealership and is replaceable in 10 minutes on a cold engine, The gauge can be checked - its usually a broken wire at the gauge sensor.

Get the parts correctly fit - your engine will last a long time.

I cant even imagine driving a car with a broken temperature gauge. i will die of hallucinations of engine over heating without my knowledge.
Btw i thought vehicles with electric (not mechanical) radiator fans dont have a fan belts. who was suggesting to check the fan belt here...........
& for the device which converts auto fan to direct is usually found inside a round chamber with 5 holes & hair on top.

Fan belt screeching in morning and gets better when engine warms up is thermodynamics of metallic pulleys. Pulleys expand and grip the belt.

Reason is the belt is loose and it is pretty much useless now after making all the noise coz if you get it tightened properly it will snap at any time.

I think you have changed the alternator and naturally alongwith it the pulley of your original alternator got changed.

Most of the second hand alternators available have worn out pulleys with sharp grooves, they tear the belt apart in no time no matter "bando" or "Sumitomo"

Solution:

Check the alternator pulley for sharp edges , if original one is available just replace it.

Get a new belt of the above mentioned brands and tighten it properly while the engine is cold.

asalam u alikum, hope u guys doing well..
well there is a little problem in my car as the winters started and the engine belt is making noise like cheee cheee and continously comes when engine is cold once heated it never come but not it comes back again upon accelerating the genuine belt is with engine from years it never made sound until its last breath... what is the solution of this only changing belt or something else can be done coz its purchased just few months back.. the engine discussing here is carby cultus engine....

and the second problem is that there is no thermostate valve in my car and fan is also direct from which the heater starts working after a long time or u can say after many kilometers and engine remains cool the thing i wanted to ask that the heater works ok if i make the fan automatic? without installing thermostate vale? i reason i dont want o install thermostate vale is that in my car heat gauge dosent work..

how the automatic device for fan look like? and thermostate valve? and for how much they are available and which one is best?

also suggest me good electrician for all this work in mehr abadi village near G-11 or in G-10

Fan belt noise is due to Loose belt and also the heavey engine in the morning.Driving a cultus without the temp ngauge is a big risk. I recomend :
1:-Get the gauge fixed.
2:-Get the thermostate valve 82 digree from the Qablee parts and check it by dipping in the boiline hot watter it should compeletly open just before the water stars boiling.
3:- And dont forget to tighten the belt if its loose.
I am a cultus owner too ,need any more info glade to help.

sir didnt understand the highlighted line what is SG?
the thermoswitch is directly installed in the wires of fan?
and theromstate valve is required for thermoswitch? or they are separate from each other i mean not dependent to each other?
no the gauge needs whole wiring again even fuel gauge doesnt work..i checked both of the gauges out from the car when i supply current to them they start rising the problem is in wiring for sure..
thats why im asking if i install thermoswitch now as the gauge dosnt work after it get fixed i ll install that thermostate valve too...

hahaha well when i first brought this car i have had the same feeling about gauges but when time goes on and on now i didnt remember to notice gauges... but my brother he floors the car im really afraid from him coz when he comes back from somewhere smell coming from the car coz of heat...
yes the fan is electrical but the same belt is used in mechanical fans and alternator of other cars..

ohh man i think ive got the problem as this this i didnt even notice i was just complaining about bad quality of belt but now i see its not the belt it must be pulley which making sound now i will thoroughly check the pulley for any defects in it..as that original pulley is not with me the mechanic scrapped that one at the time of change of alternator.. thanks alot ..

yes i need some good electrician to complete all this task as the fuel gauge dosnt work which i need urgently coz of loadsheding increase of cng...
well as the qablee market is far far away from my place as it is sultan ka khoo i need to go and if it is non functional i need to go back to them for replace..many ppl recomended me to buy a new one as it is not much cosly... what do u say now if i get qablee one it will serve me best or the new one i buy from g-10?

the valve is a mechanical device and is not electric in any sense, the fan thermoswitch is a 2 pin electric switch that is activated by heat.

You should be fixing those problems unless you want to spend a fortune on rebuilding.

oh okay now i got that...
why is that so? engine is running like this from i guess 2 years and i see many ppls cars having direct fan and no thermostate valve all the year but this year i thought i must install those things INSHALLAH on coming saturday

and yeah i noticed that chee chee sound from belt i think the alternator becomes hard as i started the engine opened the bonet gave acc from acc wire the rubber smell come out of it when ever chee chee sound comes from belt wht to do now?

well i just replaced that belt few months back now its making song like chee chee and i checked that belt with hand its still in good condtion but why making sound?:S
