Awesome dude! But EE is a saturated major nowadays.
Way to go on taking up such an authentic project. Also saw that you made an OBD2 scan tool. Props!
btw, what makes this ecu universal? its communication protocols?
most ecus feature built in transmission control units... when you put that in, wouldnt the ecu not be universal anymore? (given that not all transmissions function alike).
it has no Transmission Control just Engine control Unit, it is Universal because u can connect it with any Gasoline Engine 1,2,3,4,6,8 Cylinders,
Great job! Being an electrical engineer as well, I truly appreciate and applaud the effort, research and development that must have gone into designing this. Hats off to you janab!
Thankx Man

Excellent work. Keep it up.
Nothing Special Dude, as an Electrical Engineer i love to play with Machines. i made this ECU for R&D purpose only + to Test my Knowledge & capabilities thats it. most of the Technical people around me said that making an ECU is impossible, so i just gave it a try & made it
Great Job...you can sell these as well to people who have engines without ECUs etc....
And please can u tell us more details about the thing (im paindoo, i dont have engineering background, but have respect for engineers)
duplicate post....
Yup i can sell it to those people who have Engines without ECU but the Problem is that i am alone & i cant do bulk manufacturing/investment in it, as i am just a Research Engineer.
Details like what the working of ECU? Or the general purpose of ECU?
previous version of ECUhttps://www.pakwheels.com/forums/d-i-y-projects/184331-home-made-ecu-efi-engine
i know general purpose of ECU, control ignition timing, valve timing, vtec, vvti, temp control etc...
but tell me some interesting things about this thing u made..since im non-engineer guy, so keep it simple...and whats the 4 flashing lights in yellow indicate?
the 4 Yellow LEDs on TOP PCB indicates the IAC Stepper Motor position, the 4 Blue LEDs on Bottom PCB indicates Fuel Injectors & 4 RED LEDs shows ignition coil etc.
And where do u see rpm? Can u connect this to laptop and see stuff on screen like fast and furious:)?
Yup RPM & all other critical Parameters can be seen on Laptop Screen, after that u can perform tuning stuff
plz show? ( u dont need special effects and music etc, just plain video)
OK man when i get free time i will start the Engine & take the snapes / video then show it to u, dont know y u r so much interested in RPM thingy
too much fast and the furious
congrats man may ALLAH give u all the success on ur effort
