Nopes, not really, but it have a lot of advantages.
Imagine, a thing doing internal coating in your engine which stays there upto 35-40k kms and helps reducing frictions to next level. One time application in 35-40k kms isn't bad. In some youtube videos they tested ceratec alone to 1100 degree celcius with blow torch

More than satisfied with Shell Helix Ultra 5W40 fully synthetic in Altis 1.8. Interval of 8000km with toyota oil filter made in japan. Car is driven around two times a month from isb to khi and back. Mostly highway kms.

I poured taglon once, what i feel is that its not a synthetic oil just high base mineral oil.

It was nowhere near to fully synthetic oil in performance. Engine noise smoothness fuel economy or drain interval non gave me confidence to use it more than 5000kms. Not promoting or advertising any brand over here. Shell Helix Ultra 5W40 was quite much improvement over it. I have driven the car 44000km from January 2017 and felt that this oil was doing good for me. I drain it at 8000km.

Well, i must agree with you, but for those who wants to keep warranty its better for them to keep their car on taglon 5w50.

Yesterday i change first Engine oil of my 1.6 after 4k Kms. I choose Taglon W5-50 and it cost me 5420 from Airport motor including oil filter. Kindly make some recommendations on this service.

Taglon 5L in lahore costs around 4000 from the dealership. Oil replacement charges from 3s are around 150. So that means they charged you around 1270 for oil filter.

1s for parts is available in Montogomery road by the name of Toyota Ravi, their shop is right besides Ravi Exchange. Their rates were very competitive previously, for example they sold oil filter for 850 the first time I bought from them, the next time they sold me for 900 and then for the next time they told me the price of 1350 which is insane.

I recently bought oil filters from a Rawalpindi 1s, Hamza Younas Autos, for 650.

1000 rupees is 5000kms inspection charges which was in itself a total drama baazi, therefore they give a discount on this if you talk to them. I got it done in 600.
Taglon 5L is 4000.
As for oil filter I too got for 1420. Its expensive will get one from 1s next time.
