I also emailed Liqui Moly Germany. They said use Haudralic lift additive otherwise simple Oil additive. What u say??

Haseeb bhai is correct. You can use 10w40 LM too. I am using the same. Haseeb bhai recommended me that oil. I am pretty much satisfied with the performance. No issues at all. Car is smooth.

Definitely he is very right. I am a bit confused on which additive to use?? LM on their email reply told me to use Hydraulic lifter additive. Experts like you and others are in favor of Ceratec. What is the difference between these two additives??.

I am gonna decide to finally resolve this issue once and forever.

I never used these additives. I literally don’t understand the point to use them. Maybe those who have used these products can guide you better. Thanks for giving respect bro but I am no expert, I am just a learner like you.

Wait until you hit 5000kms for this oil.
Use ceratec, it will make its own coating inside engine for next 40-50 thousand kilometers.
Cera Tec is a high-tech ceramic wear protection and can be mixed with all commercially available oils. Cera Tec reduces friction and wear by using chemically and thermally extremely high-resilient ceramic compounds. Prevents direct metal/metal contact, increasing the service life of the aggregate. The smooth-running effect reduces fuel consumption in gasoline and diesel engines
300ml is sufficient for 5 liters of oil so use only 200ml once and 100ml next time.
I would rate ceratec way more than any other oil additive.

I just read about Hydraulic lifter additive. They said this need to be pour at every oil change so thats not economical.

Definitely this will smooth engine running. But tell me plz... will it quite the roaring engine noise like gurrrr at lower gears when we put throtle?? If it is then i m gona use it. Because i wanted to stop/quite this noise.

Oh yes, i thought while moving the car. Yes it will be reduced to a great extent.
It’s vvti acutator. A good fully synthetic will reduce it.
I would still rate mobil 1 5w50 higher than any liqui moly and it’s additive.
Mobil 1 alone is better than LM and ceratec.

Yes, LM with ceratec will reduce it to great extent. You will hear it occasionally, and it will be reduced to minimal level.
Purchase oil only from authorised dealer or their website. Use only toyota genuine/original oil filter.

If you wanna save money and want good brand as well like LM, and want to use it for 5-7k kms than you can use liqui moly super leichtlauf 10w40. @Ashhad4 is also using that in his 1.3 corolla.

LM 10.40 & MOBIL 1 5.50 are fully synthetic?? If to use 10.40 LM, then ceratec will be poured or not needed? If not needed then 10.40 LM will alone quitr the engine roaring noise??

Yes, it is synthetic. I didn’t used any additives I poured LM 10w40 just like an odinary oil change. And yes engine noise is reduced slightly and performance is slightly better too. I don’t know which kind of roaring you’re talking about though.

My car already done 180k Odo. and prev 20.50 zic for long is being used by prev owner. Such old engines usually have a bit noise.

If thats the case so Haseeb bhai will guide you because he previously had a corolla 2010 which had 220,000 on the odo when he sold it. Have you get its maintenance done?
