An interesting experiment done by project farm regarding engine oil life and drain intervals. A must watch IMO for all those that religiously change the engine oil in 6 months even if it's barely run a 1000kms.
the 6 month interval is a precautionary measure.
for high humid areas, it should be replaced in 6 months.
cars with short trips are affected in humid areas where the engine does not reach optimum temperature.
take a long drive once in a while to burn all the moisture
