I bought Mehran 13 Euro2 (90K+ driven) few days ago. Today I go for oil change, Shagird of Ustad recommend me to replace oil filter, air filter and engine oil.
I bought air filter and oil filter of Gaurd company, while I do not now which oil I bought from spare parts shop and Shigrd of Machinic pour that oil in engine. I only know that the oil name was Hevoline formula. I do not know what was that 20w50, sg or something else.
But after replacing oil, while I ride bake to home, I feel my car engine sound is now decreased.

I am worried that if I used some wrong oil What will happen.

Please recommend me what should I do? I was not aware that there are a lot of types of Engine oil. Now I am worried after reading this thread.

Also please recommend me that which oil should I use in future? Again please note that Mehran Euro2 90k+ driven..

If engine condition is good, i.e. no blue color smoke on cold startup, and car is not reducing much oil within 3000 KMs, then you can use any of below listed oils:
Caltex Havoline 10w-40 API SJ (newly introduced)
ZIC M X3 15w-40 API SJ
Kixx G 10w-40 API SJ
but if engine is bit weak/worn out, you can stick to Havoline 20w-50, there is no harm.

I bought Suzuki margalla 98 last week. The oddo meter shows 50k km but I am sure it must be over 150k km as it is 20 year old car.
Previous owner used 20w-50. He said it was zic but I found a pso crient 1L half used bottle so not sure if he gave me truth. Engine has visual black deposits inside. Oil has also turned black. No smoke but high engine noise.
I m thinking of switching to lower viscosity oil. Any suggestion for SGO etc?

as salam o alaikum sorry to interrupt after a long time but i bought 2016 efi mehran and guy was using zic A+(i believe its fully synthetic) 10w40 should i continue or i have option to change the brand.car running 30k approx. and what other option i have?

Well for 05 Mehran keep using 20w-50 from any good brand. Make sure it is original, I will recommend going to filter house for original oils. Oil change interval should be 3000kms. It is preferred if you use a semi synthetic engine oil in 20w-50 grade instead of mineral oil. Consult any reputable oil store. If 20w-50 difficult to find in semi synthetic, you can try using 15w-40. However try this only if your car engine is strong and not reducing any oil.

i have mehran vx 1999 model.
last time mainy Pic heavy duty oil dala. kunki engine oil khata tha. oil changer suggest me to use Pic heavy duty engine oil. but oil change krty hi. gari ne white dhuwa chorna shuru kr diya. then he changed and pour Black tiger 50w oil. but dhuwa khtam nhi huwa.
what should i do now?
havoline ya zic use krny se dhuwa khtam ho jaega ya mai mechanical work krwana prega.
seniors plz suggest me. i need your recomendations.

Sir I m having mehran 2006... recently purchased ,I changed oil zic hiflow.20 .50-but still car is reducing oil after mileage of 150 kilometers.... what should be the best oil to get rid of it... kindly suggest.

Check
1. If there is any leakage of oil after you park car, you can verify this by parking car on plain surface for few hours? if yes get the seals fixed
2. If car giving blue/grey smoke wile engine is started cold? Exhaust/Silencer is oily or blackish? if yes then rings need to be replaced or engine overhaul required
Also it is better to use ZIC M, X3 15w-40 engine oil, or if engine rings worn out then use some non-synthetic 20w-50 mineral oil.

bro get it done from the dealership, else you will void your warranty

Ask him to make guage for it instead of using just silicon, Silicon won't fix it. I have experienced it with my Premio
