I own 2001 Civic Oriel Manual Prosmatec shape.
Just hit 118k now.
There is an oil leakage from tappet cover, changed the rubber several times but no success, whats the better solution?

Check PCV valve for blockage. Never over fill oil. Dont over torque the tappet cover bolts.

My friend bought a corolla altis 1.8 automatic 2008 model.there were tappet noise.so he adjusted them,mechanic told him that engine had blow by,so engine is weak.he told him either change it with 1.5 with gearbox from gli,or buy assembly for 80k.my friend likes automatic.so what engine should he put in.how n what is prices of 1zzfe,2zzfe(n will it fit directly in car with same auto tranny).or should he just change the assembly.car doesnt smoke or reduce oil.but have 160k km on it.any suggestion would be very helpful.Thanks

1nz fe is a smart choice its cheap its reliable its economical. Price is 65k with auto gear
