okhay, i changed this valve but i havnt connected it up again, rather iv blocked off the pipe altogether. blow-by pressure still has a way out through the other breather pipe going to the air cleaner so no +ve pressure forms inside crankcase.

the problem bugging me most is the hot n cold idle problems. its literally making me pull my hair out!

I got same kit in my car.

You face same problem on Patrol? or its only on CNG? the idling on hot and cold engine?

If its only cng you got venturi or injector installed in ur carb?

i cant tell if the problem is there on petrol because the idling is fine on both hot & cold in petrol mode, but when engine gets hot, i do feel a little loss of power. just a little.
but the problem is mostly on cng. installing the other kit doesnt solve anything. same behaviour.

i had a venturi installed INTO the carb. i blocked that off. i now have that round venturi placed between the carb top and air cleaner assembly.

hey which spark plugs are you using for your engine?

are they the 'lambi tip walay' or 'choti tip walay' and which brand?

toyota rawal motor's mechanic said i should put choti tip walay while street mechanics say im fine using the lambi tip walay plugs...who to believe???

Ahsan i spoke to my mechanic about your problem. He says he is pretty sure its a distributor problem. As the car heats up the distibutor loses the spark.

Thing is your going everywhere i will suggest you give one visit to my mechanic as well. 90% of the time he solves these kind of cases

I am using the long tip spark plugs. If you use the normal one you will feel the pickup decreased.

okhayyy i just signed in to post ths update.

iv discovered its a spark timing problem as well.
i ran fully advanced timing on petrol, when engine was hot as well as on cold.
when engine was cold it was pinging a lot (thats normal for such an advance)
when engine became hot it lost its pinging nature altogether!
I think its supposed to be the other way round right...
so yea il go to sum mechanics. 1st up is ur recommended bloke.
