I wish I could you help you , but I am not familiar with this model of Honda. However, it would be helpful to know why you need to locate these sensors.

So, what is the issue/problem that you are facing with your car, if any?

can any one help me locating following sensors on my honda civic 1996.

Crank sensor
Crankshaft position sensor
Exhaust gas temperature gauge
MAP sensor
Mass flow sensor
Nitrogen oxide sensor
Oxygen sensor
Throttle position sensor

Picss would be very helpful.

Crank sensor/ Crankshaft position sensor: located in the distributor.
Exhaust gas thingie: your car was never bundled with one.
Manifold Absolute Pressure: On the top of the throttle body.
Mass Air Flow Sensor: Honda doesn't use MAF, MAP is used instead.
NOx Sensor: Not avaliable in local market.
Oxygen Sensor: Not avaliable.
Throttle Position Sensor: on the back of the throttle body, right on the back of the throttle cable.

Just post a good pic for location.

If they are working fine, I would not mess with the sensors. For more information, the best place to start would be to see if you can get a service manual for your car.

I am afraid for proper information, you will need somebody wth local knowledge of a source, since the internet information will likely be not specifically applicable or worse, misleading for a problem.

I don't know the situation there now, but I used to be able to get a photocopy of service manuals by requesting a supervisor at an authorised service facility back in the day.

But again, as @VCheng said, you seriously don't wanna mess with them. If you don't have a CEL, don't touch any of them.

Crank sensor is the same as crankshaft position sensor - location is most likely inside your timing cover ... you can only clean if you take out all the pulleys. don't bother with this one.

Exhaust gas temp guage - you do not have this in your car.

MAP sensor and mass air flow are similar, you will have a MAP sensor in your car - location is on the intake manifold ... take out your air cleaner box and you'll see a sensor with 3 wires labeled map. take it out and clean it - make sure the rubber o-ring is not stretched ... if it is then replace before you put it back in after clean ... clean using carburator cleaner bottle only do not use petrol.

nitrogen oxide sensor - you do not have this in your car.

oxygen sensor - you might have this on your car, location - on the exhaust pipes, size 22 spanner required to open it - if you have it open and clean.

throttle position sensor is located on the throttle body ... this sensor doesn't require cleaning ... instead you can open up your throttle body and clean it ... you'll find another sensor on the throttle called the idle air controller - open that system up and clean it up ... good for the car ... when you open the throttle body you'll find 2 rubber pipes going into the throttle. be sure to let the car cool down before you open ... those pipes carry coolant and have hot water running through them... so make sure engine is cold when working on this one...
