@above i am talking about the engine in this thread i know the dual vtec also came with no vtec written on the valve cover
The VTEC-E written on the valve cover comes with d15z1
just open the valve cover who knows you might be running a Vtec rather then Vtec-e though your external components show sign of vtec-e

pure VTEC-E only has 1 VTEC solenoid...........You are confusing it with the three stage VTEC which uses VTEC-E+VTEC

VTEC-E operates between the 12-Valve and 16-Valve mode (2-operations= 1 solenoid)

wow:o this engine is something unusual...........firstly this engine never came or was offered in japan under this designation D15Z6 and the origins of this engine are of european nature ............interesting ..........engines not only from JDM scrapheaps but Euro-junkpiles are also making their way successfully into Pakistani soil.....

I agree that d15z6 was introduced in euromarket in Ek-3 civic. and these engines are highly fuel efficient.

Yes its European Market Engine....and Single Vtec doesn't always mean its Vtec-e.

You're damn right they are! Mine (same as yours) used to give me 145km on a full tank of CNG IN CITY driving. On longer routes almost 170kms. Cheapest thing ever!

aoa bro ...whatever u do ....plz dont use it on CNG as CNG prices will be high shortly and secondly u will ruin the engine ....just leave it stock and drive ur car on petrol and hi-octane once a month

Just an air intake and exhaust. Regular plugs, original plug wires. Engine even had weak rings yet it still performed very well for daily driving needs aswell as excellent mileage. I would highly recommend you CNG it if you're looking for good mileage.

Custom wires or performance wires Nyways engine was looking gr8...ur Simota is also confirmed...lets c when u put this machine on road.

immad sure, will update daily, today as mechanic said that he will put the engine in the car before leaving workshop, need to pick intake thats y i was not be able to stay at workshop.will take a cybershot cam tomorrow for best pics.
