the daihatsu HC-E is pretty basic bare bones (aka daal chaaval type) ECU and wiring, theres nothing finicky about it, test the codes from the port in the engine bay and correct whatever is wrong. Its a batch fire system.

In your case - have you checked the error codes for the ECU at all?

also what is your suggestion about daihatsu duet engine? coz its a bit cheap in good condition...also avaiable with automatic transmission.?is it a good option or not

I just bought a charade Anda shape with original petrol engine. Is these any automatic transmission option available for the original engine?
