A question,
What is the legal procedure to follow when you make an engine swap in any car as the engine number on the registration book is of the stock engine,
Do they change the engine number in the registration book or any other method is followed?

no issues get the number changed..or if you want change the code as well

I agree! But did buying a single cane of oil make any difference to curb smuggled oils in the market or something to do with ruining your business? At first i was reluctant to buy this oil from unauthoried seller/Dealer. but since i have to drain it after 50 km of running & it was available super cheap, I choose it. but after using it, i found it good.

After draining at 50km, I was convinced to use it again but since it was not available at the lube shop where i usually changed oil. so i stick with zic..

Batter buy the orignal 1 next time....

bro m running g15 in my khyber ..was using havoline ..but tried this zic and belive me its pathatic.....m almost 3k done ..did petromin ..which is good

for old engines Zic is not good....havoline or petromin are good....

bro a freind of mine put 1nzfe in his indus corolla which was diesel earlier.

its not a direct swap as its in the case of 4a or 5a

Does your electrification include, the Circuit opening and main relay? and also the A/C idle boost solenoid connection along with the ACT connection?

Today after 12 year I rebuilt this engine. MashAllah engine pistons were in good condition. Replaced rings. All seals, clutch bearing, belts, distributer wires, fuel filter etc..

I return to this post just to record my appreciations for Toyota 5efe engine. Please note that engine was kept with extreme care. Was using liqui moly 10w40 oil till 2019 after that I switch to zic 20-50.. engine covered almost 350000 before this rebuilt and still going strong. Here are some pics.

Hello, just saw your thread, Wanted to know about your overall experience. you swapped the engine and used it for a long term, a few questions.
1. did the swap affect the reliability of your car?
2. what was the improvement in the fuel consumption of the vehicle?
3. did the car become quiet / or reduced engine sound?
4. do you recommend to swap an engine in older model cars, i.e., newer model engines efi in non-efi cars?
