Is this engine getting any mental torture by running on CNG without any CNG adjustments/tuning?

The re-connect of petrol pipes may be delayed to this weekend, considering my 09:00-05:00 job

I'm concerned that without adjustments, it may do some harm to the engine. I read some threads depicting very adverse affects of CNG due to something like different octane value, misfiring, knocking etc.

NOt a problem with these engine because u cannot change timing. As long as it is runninh fine on cng, no harm to the engine.

Saqib bhai, thanks for the clarifications. One more query regarding CNG:

Will it do some harm if I keep on starting the engine on CNG? I have the manual switch (and currently no petrol working, u know).

Any trouble to injectors?

As long injectors are not on, they will be fine. Youc an start the engine on CNG.

IF the cng guy has installed an Emulator which i assume he has then injectors are not working when on cng.

I don't think he added any additional component in it. All he did was some wiring, change the venturi, I guess and a longer pipe.

I'll take a snap of CNG kit and post here.

That puncture into the MAF side, poorly fixed with a magic, made me quite uncomfortable. But living with it at the moment

Emulator is an electrical component. Do u see any dabbi in engine bay?

I'm not sure I've ever seen that "dabbi". Since the kit is same as was being used with carby E13, so the chances of any emulator existing on it are very rare.

The emulator sends false signal to ECU. So what will happen if there's no emulator at all???

IN that case there must be a relay to cut off injectors. YOu have to trust the work dne by CNG guy. Keep driving, not much can go wrong even in that case.
