Build this motor on a good turbocharged setup and you shall need the following.
- Turbocharger
- Intercooler
- Injectors ... 550cc+
- Piping all round
- Internals ... Pistons and Rods for the bottom end
- Head ... a new camshaft and camgear and valvetrain will help a lot in the power delivery
- Clutch ... ACT 6puck XT.
- Drag Radials or slicks
- Good metal headgasket
- Conversion to OBD1 (P08 ECU n wiring)... its easier to chip it that way
- Changing the mounts else you are going to break them every month with all that power.
- A B16 throttle body
- A better aftermarket oil pump
- A better aftermarket fuel pump
... and some more stuff that Im forgetting. Thats the main stuff though.
... With all that under the hood. Expect to put out 250 horses at the wheels easily provided you get a good turbo and run some solid boost.
Either that or swap a K20. Its NOT bolt on ... you will have welding done on your engine bay, its very expesnive for the power you get. The above turbocharging setup would cost the same if you get the stuff at good costs.
