Brother no one here overhauls upto factory specs
No one has proper tools not even torque wrenches
Engine overhauled from honda lasted only a 100,000 kmand Costed 85k while on the same car with the swapped assembly worth 30k is still going strong after 170k+ kms
So basically iam not against the overhhaul but the quality of work done here

Crank shaft noise and vibration
Engine started eating a liter of oil after 2000km
They again had gived estimate of 50k for the repairs to which the assembly swap seemed a more better and reasonable option
Also the l12 engine in our local idsi is reallyb underpowered
L13 best suited for this body

how innocent of you, engine burned oil after 2000 kms and had crank noise after spending 85K and you did not complain to dealership?

btw - these are extremely simple engines and anybody with half drunk brains can repair them. If you had such complaint and didnt go back to get your money, sounds like something you read about only.

the only unique tools you need to overhaul this is a couple of torque wrenches and an angle gauge. the rest is the same basic things you do to a suzuki mehran engine.

The warranty of a rebuild engine is only upto 30,000 km sir
And this is pakistan even if it their fault, it is blamed on you this in how it works in pakistan
Even in new honda city the low refriggent caused less cooling and we had to pay for the refrigent
Even complained to altas honda but you nothing is above good buisness

2000 kms is 6% distance of the 30000 kms warranty. A very easy case - infact lawyers are hungry for such cases because the payout is very nice.

@Xulfiqar i have a small situation - please suggest me best solution. my Liana's (M13) gasket got burnt twice in past due to leaking radiator and our carelessness - the head job was done and car was on road again with no apparent issues - the head was resurfaced - however since last few months the issue arising are as follows:

car suddenly drops RPM on AC and engine shuts off - do it 100% times on CNG after a drive of 10-15 mins

on petrol, the rpms are always dancing - sometimes to 2000 and then back to 900 and then again up.

car is reducing oil and there is absolutely no smoke - around 1.5L is reduced under 3000Km run.

mechanic said your head is very weak, valves are bad as they ran dry on CNG. please suggest me best thing to do with this situation. i am from Khi.
