i shudnt be saying this but i have seen the trend at pakwheels that most people critisize on pruducts (whether it,s a car or some parts) and deliver useless remarks on things and participate a lot in finding defects in somethin.
plz find some other place with people having brains in showin respect to others belongings. or try emailing the "for sale" item directly to the enthusiasts email boxes.

i liked the 4AGE ...now lemme bust my 4Afe and i will definitely contact you.

what else you know about the black top you have?. any history? where it came from? is vvti cut off due to diffirent degree cams? any pics you can post of it,, or i can see it in real?. if i sell my car i would be interested in it with some cash in my hand:),,,,,and if i do buy it, that would on condition its swaped in car .. i have gli auto ae101 waiting in line,.. for a swap, so would need manual transmission and inside console,, etc..can you arrange these also so all is done in one go! thks bro.

The engine is off a Levin BZG 1997 AE111. I got it off a front clip when the car was scrapped. I actually have the whole front clip. which includes everything from power steering and even the Dash assembly. The VVT is disabled because its running high duration cams and adjustable pullies.
About the swap, I do have pictures of the dash but they're not clear, camera malfuntion. The Dash is off a LEVIN so it will fit although wont match with the rest of the upholstry.
As far as the hisory is concerned, we just scrapped the car and gave iot test drive before, worked fine and is fast.

man! look at that angry nose. its like saying, stay away from me..,,, now i am wanting the whole front!! to rock corolla,,lol. ok thks. good info , bro,,but ecu being the most important thing,swap only possible who knows what he's doing rather than hit and try. last time i burnt (or bought already burnt??)3 ecu, dont want that happening with black top ecu.

Boss everything is in working order. The vehicle was driven to the scrapyard. We scrap such vehicles with more attention than we do the normal car as they're worth more in parts than as a whole. So rest assured. Its right up there. Bsedies some dust on the engine, the engine's clean enough to eat off!

like i Said earlier, excluding panels The engine, gearbox complete with harness an ECU is 250,000PKR. Thats NOT the front Clip.

hello hot: i thought you were interested in less than 100,000 engine. last you were talking about 55,000 for black top or 5efe or something, what got you interested in this 250,000 machine?

mrhot: sorry 4efte, btw, that 4efte is 16v turbo, stock producing 135hp 1.3l engine

and 4age20v(1997 model is 180hp 1.6l) stock,, designed with manifold air pressure as black top.

why the same engine price? probably factors like:
avaliability
condition
demand
economy
etc etc.

I am interested as it is in show or as the seller calls it a clip. I know it has everything with it which is normally not available in market like original air intakes and mounts and all. In this situation i know if i park my car next to the so called clip and have a good mech he will swap everything perfectly and engine wont be missing anything important which if in other situations is missings is very troublesome to find :). Fli_Gti bhai where are you located and what is your cell phone number.

you saw my 3rd, 4age engine last sunday, ive been using these machines since 1989,(addicted) before you were born! i dont go for half hearted approach to fix a 4age in corolla either. The final result is car should run properly not that it has original mounts and airtakes!!(that's a display gimmick!.
A friend is sending me soon his black top pics of his swap from silver to black, i will ask him if i have his permission to display them here.
