I have a car in whcih the stock size is the older metric system and I want to replace the tires with contemporary ones, please advise me on the best modern size for 185 SR 14
Do please advise a size that is easily available locally.

185/80R14 Michelin XM2 Energy is available, the size is same but with higher speed symbol, be careful another size 185R14 is also available which is for hiace.

I have a Liana n the ground clearance is very low with R14 size tyres what u recommend I should do can't increase tyre size as it will hit the body n spacers well for that I'll have get bigger tyres poor fuel economy so any suggestions?

Asalamoalikum. Dear, tyres of my toyo passo 2007 desperately needs to be replaced with new ones. The factory recommended size is "155 80 13 " ....well I know u r a big fan of Michelin , but the problem is I'm not big spender on cars which is evident from the fact that my car just suffers 10,000 km per annum and more or less all traveling in city with less traffic areas of Lahore . So I got a few options, out of which I expect you to recommend or suggest:
1) Bridgestone 175 70 13
2) nexen 175 70 13
3) maxxis 175 70 13

Would "175" instead of "155" hurt fuel consumption? Bcz I'm getting 15 km per litre average in city which is rare for passo here in Pakistan as I often find people complaining about average of about 10 kmpl .....

Anybody recommend trusted sellers in Lahore?

Brother if michelin is not ur choice than I would recommend 175 70r13 Hankook Korea very good tyre in its price.

Brother tyre plays a very little role in ur car fuel consumption its mostly depends on how u drive and how much you maintenance is done.

Hi I have brand new tyres HiFly - Made in China in my santro, size is 165 / 65 / 13.. tryes are sound less but I don't know why I feel so much bump in car on bumpy roads, i want to have some more comfort ride in car.. may be i need to switch to stock santro tyre size 155 / 70 / 13 this may improve my ride drive, whats your opinion?

Hifly is hard Tyre, go for Michelin XM2 Energy you will feel a difference. If don't want to go for Michelin, at least try Hankook, toyo or bridgestone.

Hello Brothers! Today I got a chance to install 195/55/r16 in my Honda City 2001... Previously the car had 175/70/r13
The OEM size is 165/80/r13

I have an option to switch back to the previous tyre size as the shopkeeper is a friend of mine he told me to check the new tires for 3 4 days and if you like them then keep else i'll give you the tires you want.

I wanted to know if the tyre/rim size variation will affect the mileage considerably or not?
and is there any danger to my suspension etc?

Personal view; The car tends to accelerate a tat slowly then before. Also its looks to me that the car is heavy. (may be a psychological effect )

Waiting for an expert opinion

P.S both the rims 13" and 16" are OEM city rims and 16" are OEM Vitz i guess

My Santro 2008 having HANKOOK 165/70/13 on FRONT and 165/65/13 REAR. All 4 tyres are brand New. Any harm of this conflict to Car suspension or any this else?

Drive seems normal and excellent road grip and breaking.

Your rear suspension is carrying more load as front axle tyres are higher, just exchange their position it will be better.

No dear you will get only XM2 and Energy Saver+ in 195/65R15 available both in imported and smuggled in local market.

Dunlop SP01 series is not a good Tyre, the only benefit is its price, if you want to go for Dunlop find SP9000 other wise you can go for Michelin XM2 Energy, Bridgestone Ecopia, Toyo or YH.
