Days Outlines
Last night spend with a discomfort just like sleep/awake position. Only one good thing was "No rain" during night. We did our breakfast as per schedule. Today's expected trek time was about 8 hours(we completed it approximately in 9 hours). Weather wasn't presenting a friendly gesture. The Kachikhani ridge was under heavy clouds. All the day's trek was under cloudy atmosphere. Started just before 8. A couple of green places came in the way which were better camping places than dewanger. Jangri just after one hours trek from Dewanger and Pangal which was about 4 hours from Dewanger. We trekked beside the river, going through the green pastures and crossed too many streams. We took a short rest at Pangal which was the only lively settlement during our whole trek. Our porters have a family relation with them so we took a tea party from them. Our Leggard group even got a refreshing and energetic lunch from there. It came after 4-5 hours of trek. In the second session of trek, we were caught by the Moon Soon rain. We took a semi shelter under a huge rock. As it was a semi shelter so our legs/feet forced us to come out and do trek under the heavy rain. We reached at the Blue lake under the severe rain fall. There was no shelter at the lake. At first we spend half hour beside a joint rock but the voices of tip tip tip?So, we spotted some potential points under the rain fall and went to confirm there potential. At last we found out a natural cave and four members which had reached there ,sat there. After one hour or so, the remaining team members and the porters also reached there. It was evident that despite all the measures we have taken the most of the luggage had become WET. Under a heavy rain by using tactics we established our camps. It was a big achievement for the team to change their wet clothes. One interesting discussion was happened before pitching the camp site was due to wetness of the luggage and no wood for the camp fire, can we survive for the night or not. So one option was to trek back and ave a night stay at Pangal Village and then estimate the pros/cons again for the remaining of the trek. But most of the members didn't have any stamina to trek back for another couple of hours. At last with Allah's Will the rain fall have stopped after few hours. We had already arranged one extra porter/Guide for pass crossing from Pangal and he was supposed to join us at Blue Lake. This proved to be the nature's help for us since he joined us right in time not alone but loads us "Rotiis" which we used for the next two days. In the night again there was a discussion about the weather as some of the members were not feeling well due to day's rainy trek. Irfan Ul Haq also wanna take a decision to continue trek if the weather shows good sign. As a leader it was his responsibility to make sure the safety first and we all have to obey his decision. So the only hope was THE ALMIGHTY.
So, lets start the day two on the trek. Dewanger peak and in view our days trek. At early morning this side have less cloud
