5[SUP]th[/SUP] Day of tour..3[SUP]rd[/SUP] day on trek: From Blue Lake to Green Lake(Raj Makan, the Base camp of Bashkaro Pass)
Today's trek was the shortest one. We merely walked 3 to 4 hours. Done two ascents. While Going through a couple of meadows, took a little break at a Bakarwal's place and when reached at the day's destination we have a lot of remaining potential to do a little bit more to make our pass day less hectic.
As we already told that due to previous day's rain fall while trekking the most of our luggage had become wet. We laid down our wet garments on the rocks at night but it couldn't get the required results. But one thing wasn't embarrassing that the weather was clear. So, after breakfast the team packed the luggage and started the day's trek. Apparently it seems that the Ushu river has the starting point here, as there was only one contributory nala was emerging from the rocks which was the only source of the river. But after a steep ascend when we reached at the other side, the river was there which seemed to be lost into the rocks. Blue lake or Neelsar lake haven't any visible inlet but a visible outlet indicate that, there may be several seepages which going to increase the level for outlet. As weather was clear, so we were able to see some blue color sky through our lenz's eye too. After a couple of hour we reached at a Bakarwals place and they offer the team a cup of tea made from goats milk. Half an hour stayed there. Then the second half trek. We ascent a steep hike, a boulders of big rock, crossed the Green lake and reached the Raj makan. We didn't have any prior information about Green lake, so it imparts a pleasant impact on us. I asked its local name and a porter named it "Maleen sar" or a name similar to this. We reached there at mid day, so we opened all our luggage and laid it down under the intensive sun light. So, in this way we have succeeded to dry our previous day's wetness. The second half of the day was a leisure time for the team. We took a full rest while "Gup Shup". We camped at 3800m. It means the next day we have to cover 1000 vertical meters and then a long descend. We decided to leave the camp side asap for the pass on next day.
