Camp Day 5,
On previous day, when we camped there at rain time, we haven?t any fresh water for drinking. So, it used to be a bit difficult to eat something without drinkable water L. So, wandering into the dream for water too J . No rain during night. Morning was just normal and side by stream have a little bit normal now. If we say the first mistake was the estimation of boulders area then second mistake of our trek was definitely the food quality. The available cook c u m porters were just like us. So at the end we just waited to go out from the trek for a fresh food from a non remote area.
Let?s come to the day?s trek area. Actually it was a 12/13 hours trek nto the Boulderstan. We started our trek before 8. After two hours we were able to escaped from Glacier area. We reached the camp site of a small green meadow. Our team stayed their for a while for a cup of tea. The place were a bit smelly as it was a Bakarwal?s place. I haven?t an urge of tea and also keep my body into walk, so slowly, slowly I kept my pace on the boulders. A far end stream was in our view and it was assumed that lake will start after a slight turn. Finally we succeeded to view the first look of the lake. It was magnificent. There were FOUR mighty lakes of Kukush series. We will called there number from Langhar side. So, first one in our trek was number 4 lake. When we reached lake 4, then weather was about to change its mood. We have to cross the whole lake at a fair altitude from lake and on the different types of boulders. In ashort time the rain fall have started and it added a huge difficulty level in our trekking. At times the stones, small gravels were slipping from our foot steps and at times we avoid ourselves to slip down to the waters . Just for time pass I have analyzed the at the kukush 4 lake the slipping rate was 1 out of 10 steps(including slipping, balancing, gravel falling etc) but when we reached to start of Lake 2 it increases 5 out of every 10 steps L. Under the rain we have the only one task which was carefully place our steps on the potentially safer rocks. Angle of trek at most of the places was a hell scary. It took us around 3 to 4 hours to cross the Lake 4 area. Then a again a glaciated boulder area and start of Lake 3 & Lake 2 area. We can call it either one lake or twin lake. The Two huge lake coupled with a narrow spill way. The start of the lake 2 area was the most difficult boulder area. It was steep, it was slippery, it was risky and it was the combination of all odds. Again it took around 3 to four hours to cross the area of Twin Lakes. Then the final, the most mighty, the most green, the most beautiful lake of Kukush 1 was with us. The other pleasant thing about this trek place was even we trekked on the boulders too but the trekking path was beside the water bed. Then we set our target to have a glimpse of forest which was the camp site of Kukush 1 lake. But the forest seems to be the ?Camp site of Paiyu on Concordia trek: seems in our view but on a never ending trek?. A further 3 to four hours and reached in the camp site. The extremely nice thing was that we can go into the already established camps. A straight entry into camps for a long awaited rest.
So, the team was doing its packing for another long day
