Hi guys,
Back again with some more pictures. These ones are from back in 2017. We had some really memorable time having a family get away in Jamberoo. Jamberoo is a small rural village surrounded by verdant dairy pastures on the South Coast of New South Wales. It is just 108 kms or 1 hr 45 mins drive from Sydney. This place has a very hill station-ey feel to it. Population is around 2000 only. The area mostly has large farms & holiday homes. Scenery is beautiful and drive in the mountains is lovely!
We booked a holiday cedar house at new years eve. Minimum booking was 3 days and I think it costed us around 500$/ night. Such places are always very high in demand, they go for a premium around holidays and get booked out usually 6 months in advance for major holidays like Christmas or NYE. Despite the premium price, the experience was more than rewarding. House looked amazing, it was well kept & clean and the owners were kind enough to leave toiletries, spices, herbs and ice-creams in the fridge for us. This house had 3 bedrooms & 2 washrooms. We also had all sorts of amenities and equipment that anyone could think of at our disposal, a fully equipped house at our disposal. A home away from the home. Perfect for family trips because you don't want to be stuck at an ill equipped place with family and kids.
Major attractions of Jamberoo include Jamberoo Action Park where we did visit. E-ticket is 50$ per person, ticket bought at gates in 60$, they prefer you prepay and pre-book. Unfortunately no pictures there as obviously it is a water park. Water and cell phones/cameras don't go together. So we opted to put them away in a locker rather than worrying about loosing them. We also went to Zone Bowling Illawarra which is a bowling arena and a kids arcade centre, however unfortunately I also don't have any pictures for that.
But I will share what I do have, hope you guys get inspired to plan a family trip too!
Cheers!
