Past Nusehri the road condition even deteriorates....
Road blocked and was being cleared by the CAT.

Past Nusehri comes Barian which is famous because it is a border village. Here the river neelum is the border between Indian held Kashmir and ours.
Indian flag is clearly visible.
@imarshad:
Excellent narration and pics. Please keep posting.
After Barian we stopped near a spring before Kundal Shahi. It had an excellent temperature and was also very beautiful.We saw numerous Aabshars and Springs ahead but all of them were too cold to take a bath(As they were coming directly from glaciers). We marked this place and on the way back we all took bath in this spring.
@imarshad
Excellent trip waiting for more pics.

We reached Dowarian at almost Maghrib time and decided to stay there... There was a Government Rest house (AK Tourism) which was available. In fact it was a complete cottage with 3 rooms a drawing/dining kitchen etc.The rent was only Rs. 1000 with additional 100 Rs. per extra mattress.Here are some Pics of the Rest house from outside.
Solar Panel for the rest house as there was no electricity in this area so far.
Info about Doarian:Doarian is the starting point of a track (So far only hiking or by mule) which leads to Ratti Gali Sar (Lake). It is a tough 30 KM track which takes almost 8 hours one way. But they are actively constructing a jeep able track and the work is in full flow. Also at Doarian the Nala coming from Ratti Gali Lake joins the Neelum river.Important Note:At Doarian there is constant noise of water from the Nala coming from Ratti Gali as well as the River Neelum. For some it might be annoying although you will get used to it.

There will be no updates for a couple of days as I will be leaving for Rawalakot Tomorrow morning... Next updates will be on Monday... Remember that we have still not entered the real beautiful part of the Neelum valley. There will be some stunning pics with the next updates.... In the mean time please reply about the pics already posted....
Arshad sahb congratulations on an excellent tour... awaiting more beautiful pics.One thing i would really appreciate here is the way you composed your post. Its very informative and one feels as if he is himself traveling through these areas. By the way i have a question that is it easy to get mule/porter from Dowarian if one wants to go to Ratti Lake?
very informative and lovely pictures please keep them coming.
I am back after my visit to Rawalakot and Toli Pir/Banjosa etc. I will be posting the remaining pics very soon.
We left Doarian at about 830 AM in the morning. The track from Doarian to Kel is the most scenic and most beautiful track I have ever been. Doarian-Sharda 32KM This is the best possible road after Muzaffarabad. Just 1.5 KM after Doarian there is metaled road all the way upto Sharda. These 32 KM should not take more then an hour but we were stopping almost every 5 KM because of the wonderful sceneries all around. So it took us almost 2 hours to reach Sharda.
Our first stop came after traveling just a few KM's. It was a very beautiful looking landscape of a very narrow valley between two ridges.To be honest with you the Pictures have not done justice to the beauty of this ridge/valley view. It was much more beautiful than what these pics are showing.
Same view but zoomed out and the bridge is also visible.
At the same place the river was very angry as seen in the following picture.
Next stop came where the valley had just widened a little bit resulting in calmness of the river as well as beautiful background images.
