Thanks for your interest bro but I dont understand why people are reluctant in buying karachi registered cars. Excise dept there went computerized long way back since people havent heard of computer plates in punjab. Further u pay lesser cost of registration and token taxes. Even I havent heard of any fraudulent activity in excise deptkarachi. Anyhow I have a very good experience of keeping karachi cars...

Brother as far as honesty is concerned sorry to say I doubt each and every govt department. I said it never happened to me.. if its the case, I have witnessed many incidents happend in punjab and ict too.
Lols once excise dept lahore at fareedkot house had misplaced my 93 pajero's genuine file when requested them for return file. But nothing happened I bore 3.5lac lesser sale price.

Sir the issue is not with the registration but with the mentality of ISB/RWP police..They are always chasing onto KHI registered vehicles in potohar region and its a sort of pain in the *** keeping them at bay,this is the sole reason why people dont prefer sindh registered vehicles in isb/pindi.

This is not the reason. My khi reg car daily passes the isb toll plaza check post and even enter red zone. But nobody stopped us. Its not the mentaity of isb police. Its the mentality of our people.

My uncle's car in a month KHI regd in pindi has been stopped by police 6 times in a row.Same is the case with LHR regd vehicles too..I have experienced it many many time so i am just conveying my experience and doubting your statement

Don't know why they stopped your uncle so frequently. My car daily enters isb entrance checkpost near G-13 and never ever been stopped. And same car goes to cabinet division daily in red zone.
My only one car is isb registered and all other cars are punjab and khi registered. This is my own experience not my uncle's, chacha, mamu's experience.

Altis 1.8 was one the best cars produced in Pak. Too bad that they discontinued.. I had kept Altis and GLi at the same time and the fuel consumption was same in both cases. Altis would run below 2000 rpm @ 80kph speed where Gli would be nearing 3000..!!!

Color does play a role in resale value of the car. These are market dynamics that are set on certain prejudice. You can debate if they are right or wrong.. Thats why I call them prejudice..!! Few valid reasons for RED, dark blue, dark green, etc. are:
- Color matching at the time of repaint is difficult of colors other than white and silver (plain)
- If repaint is done on a door etc, it will show up as different color over time. This usually happens to all colors except white and silver
- These colors cost more than plain white and silver
- Difficult to maintain over time - color fading, dust, etc. make it look bad over time..
