No sir. The McIntosh is a technology built into the amplifier design. I think you must be referring to the below picture.

On left we have APA-2150. On right we have APA-4200. Both these amps have McIntosh Power Guard circuitry inside.

However, some models of the Addzest Family were offered without PowerGuard.

What you see in the center is a Digital Signal Processor (Alpine Imprint).
