as i mentioned earlier that the handycam may require service/checkup. The Nikon works flawlessly and 2.5k is quite less for it. If you can get such brand or product or quality from market for 2.5k then surely go for it! 2.5k sounds pretty low to me. Thanks for the offer

a brand new 10.1 megapixel sony DSC-S3000 is for 7500 Rs with one year warranty. so what you want for this 5.1 megapixel??
im expecting around 4k atleast. btw Nikon's image quality is Faaaaaaaaaaar more superior than that of a Sony's CyberShot. People buy them for their low prices. I would rather buy a 13k Nikon rather than a 7.5k Sony. Also depends on People's choices and preferences. But everyone wants good photography and that i will assure you that Nikon will fulfill that requirement in a much better way than a Sony.

4k is very reasonable demand as per item and condition... i hv got nikon 7900 and trust me there is a huge difference in snaps captured by todays cheap china build low price cams versus these japenese solid models ..best of luck ..
