308 should fit in it. u might or might not have to change the round port for tuning which is not a big issue as it is just a plastic pipe that can be removed.
regarding its fitting above the cng. yes it might but i will not suggest it. it will block ur view and it will be dangerous to have it back up there. if you can absolutely secure it so it doesnt move then i m sure it will look cool if woofer is facing backwards.
