If this "some of you" is directed towards me, then please note; there were 2 versions of this "regular" 1.5l impreza hatchback, one with AWD and the other with FWD, both with auto boxes. There was no STI in the hatchback series. Only the WRX. Regardless of your observations, it's still a handsome looking car with a great sounding boxer 4 motor, built tough like a rock with good build quality.
