@levin; I know that time will surely come in Pakistan when these cars will be equal or above 1million, that time is just near..let's say 2,3 years if this govt. again come.. when our currency will be devalued like Afghanistan, where u buy simple naan in 6000 afghani.. 
this car was a gem in 80's and even 90's not now... people here cares for fuel economy..... now govt. is taking steps to phase out cng from private transport... then who will go for old cars with obsolete technology n high consumption of petrol..even carby mehran.. people will prefer small efi car's that are compact & do the job with show, simplicity, resale and compactness.
Your points are valid about RWD but ..... dil ha k manta nahi...
