THIRD (3) DAY - JULY 28 , 2015
to day was the day to reach over target destination Hunza
So wake up early , so get ready , have breakfast and than move on
found the buffet Breakfast arrangements At the PTDC - Gilgit - per head charge was Rs. 300/
the standard menu was - Paratha - toast - Omelate - Egg fry - Jam & Butter and fresh Tea
While coming to PTDC motel we came from the main road BUT while leaving we take River road and it was beautiful
as the river Gilgit on you left give amazing and refreshing views
So after breakfast move out of the city and have stayed at Petrol pump and get our tank filled and see an amazing scene
as was surrounded by many dry mountains but some snow covered peaks came to view at some places - as on petrol pump
saw some group of peaks at our left side over the river between a gap in brown small mountains
Asked many people around local also that what mountain range is that but no body answer properly Unless
a local media person come to fill his car and confirm that - That is Rakaposhi range towards Hunza
So that was Raka poshi and we were moving toewards it and now - Rakaposhi will be along us for the Next 5 day - Great
HUNZA - for taking the road to hunza (KKH) we have to come back to DANYURE to be back on KKH
than we cross the Bridge over river Gilgit and than and after crossing a pouplated areas become to open valley
where in distant River Gilgit now called River Hunza wsa flowing and the beautiful Carpeted road was going in cetner of area like a black cobra
Some samll towns comes and go on the way
as we progress the fruit tress becomes regular feature in abandance
we can see various fruits , like appricot , apples , Anar cheery etc
Some tress with green fruit were recognized as Almond , Akhrot etc
A board comes abd indicate that the road goes to NOMAL - a place from where you can go to Naltar
Its an alternate route and people coming from Hunza can save valuable time and distance by opting this rtaher than
going to gilgit and than to Nomal and Naltar
Naltar*is a valley near*Gilgit*,Hunzaand*Nomal, Gilgit Baltistan*in the*GilgitāBaltistan*province of*Pakistan. Naltar is 40*km (25*mi) from*Gilgit*and can be reached by jeeps. Naltar is a forested (pine) village known for its wildlife and magnificent mountain scenery. Now the communication is available by the efforts of Pakistan army signal corps (SCO special communication organization). There are ski lifts under the 'Ski Federation of Pakistan'. Transport is available from Gilgit to Naltar but during a specific time after that own arrangement.

There are magnificent views of Rakaposhi from the*Karakoram Highway*on the route through*Hunza. A tourist spot in the town of Ghulmat (located in the*Nagar*Valley) called "Zero Point*of Rakaposhi" is the closest convenient view*point of the mountain.
