FIFTH (5) DAY - JULY 30 , 2015 - Continue
While returning back to Motel - I get booked a Toyota Hiace van for Nagar - As most people and staff of PTDC
advice that due to some hight and narrrow road it will difficult for Coaster and in case of Local Driver the Guidance
will also be avaialbale
So avery nice Baba ji Driver I found on my way back - as per him he is driving on these areas around 40 years
and start driving way back by and old Army jeep left by some Britisher
He only demanded Rs. 3,000 for whole day trip and agree on Rs. 2,000
So , I asked him to come to PTDC motel Hunza - so we get some breakfast and get ready the other members of team
some of whome may be sleeping till that time
So we reached back and start the preparation for the day
After hectic buffet breakfast and getting some essntial - we loaded the Van and move to wrads our Destination
So again we Cross the Famous Ganish Bridge
Ganish is a village in*Pakistan, distinct for being the oldest and first settlement on the ancient*Silk Road*in*Hunza. It is located 95*km and 2.5 hours traveling time from*Gilgit. Ganish means*gold*in*Brushaski.
Ganish is the oldest and first settlement on the ancient*Silk Road*in Hunza, and is the site of various ancient watch towers, traditional mosques, religious centers, and a reservoir.
The Ali Gohar House in Ganish, is located next to one of the iconic*shikaris*(watchtowers) of the town. The 400 year old house was awarded the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation in 2009
Than there was the Famous Ganish Bridge - which is considred to be one of the Symbol of Hunza
After crossing the Ganish Bridge Now we left KKH and turn Right to a small road going to Nagar Balaa
Intially the road run parallel to The hunza river and we see across the River the KKH and on hills the
settelment of Karimabad
Than when see across the River the PTDC Motel - Just than roand turn to left
and at that piont the Nagar river coming from Hopper glacier and Golden Peak was falling in Hunza river
the Joining point of two rivers was simply amazing - lots of water - noise - speed - Waves and sorrounding
of large mountains - it was amazing but a bit Frieghtening to
so we move on the road along the Nagar river
this road was not as good as others - Rather Pathcy - and at some pionts just at level of river waters
gradullay the road rises and than we cross the bridge
and the Green tress and pasture of Nagar start all around us
it was so wonderful - some wheat fields - Some planatation of potata Cabbage - Many sheeops
stream water flowing all along - beautiful natural houses - innocent local
Lot Lot tress of Appricoat , Apple and many other fruits
Appricots were at full bloom - Se we make some stopes to enjoy the Delicay of nagar
In Karimabad the greenery seems to not fully covering the hills and upper sides look bit Barren
But in Nagar Khas all slopes valley's and small mountains were green - lot of pastures
typical house , the only color's there ere Green and White peaks
