I happened to visit Neelam Valley with my family in 2010 and 2011 and it has been a wonderful experience each time. We visited all places right upto Taubat, we went up to Aurang Kel also. We also went to Spoon lake in Shaunter Valley which was a day long trip on horses` backs. No doubt beauty of Neelam Valley cant be mentioned in words.

please just clear me some questions

you took your car to till shardah and left car in hotel on what cost ?
you booked jeep for further 2 days from shardah to kel - taobat - kel - arang kel (hike) it costed 14000 in total including fuel ? and stay, food of driver ?
please explain in which hotels you stayed for 6 night and what cost for each ?

Yes in lift the car at valley trakkers resort. No cost.

Yes 14000 including fuel. I gave 1000 Rs to driver but he did not ask for it. He managed his own accommodation.

I stayed at keran sharda at valley trakkers. In kel I stayed at AJK tourist lodge. In taubat I stayed at army rented place. I stayed in AJK resort in Kutton.

is army rented place open to public like a hotel or needs some special connections?

I think any one can get it. There is a one reasonable hotel across first taubat bridge. You can also stay at helmet which is 30 minutes before taubat. Army can let u stay if you have family and they have empty room

Hey Mumtaz i wanted to ask few things.

1.Would you advise this place as a Honeymoon Spot?
2.How good and how safe are the roads?
3.What is the budget that is reasonable for a Couple traveling to Kashmir?
4.Are there ATM spots or do we have to carry cash all the way to Khel and further.
5.How many days are enough for Honeymoon in Kashmir?

For honeymoon I would recommend kutton due to good accommodation.
It is all safe. Pak Army is very supportive.

Budget depends on how far you go and how many days. See summary at front page and get an idea.

You can spend 4, 5 nights at kutton.
