^ nah, a 70-30 or 60-40 mix is preferred. The higher value is normal petrol

Nope, in 33 fillups (yeah, I've full fuel history :P) I've only ever gotten hi-octane filled a couple of times (< 5)

p.s just get fuel filled from a reputable pump.

I have corolla axio 2007 model and recently I had it's valve body changed because of noisy gearbox. The noise is gone but i noticed that everytime I slowly accelerate from parked, at about 15km/h the car slightly jerks or feels like a slight push from behind. After the initial jerk the car drives smoothly . I brought this in the mechanic's notice and he replied that it's normal and all axios do it.
Now, since I dont have access to other axios, i wanted to request those guys with axio to kindly check their car that whether it has the same jerk or not so that I can know for sure. It would be much appreciated. Thank you.

This is more noticeable when decelerating from 15-20 km/h but yes it happens, but its not really a jerk per say, just a slight push as RPM raises.

Also do what Xulfiqar recommended in that other thread you created.

I have the same issue. What tyres are you using because the last time I raised this issue, someone replied and advised me that I needed to recalibrate the engine for the different sized tyres. Iam using 195/55/15. Read the thread and you should find the response to my query earlier on.

Its normal, and honestly I've gotten used to it now. If you look up Axio on intl. forums, you'll find people saying the same thing.

Btw if there is a jerk when accelerating from low speeds then its sometimes the G sensor which needs recalibration, which I did on my axio a couple of months back, it more or less removed that jerk.

p.s btw 195/55 is pretty low.

my toyota axio G is having fuel average issues its giving me 9 or 9.5 local and about 11 on long . i recently changed gear oil but no use of it. can any axio owner suggest me what to do or anyone one have the idea about this problem? waiting for reply.

Whats the mileage on the car? Apart from transmission oil change, what maintenance has been carried out so far?

Just like to know whether the attached oil is ideal for axio. All this while was using total fully synthetic oil changing every 9000km. Someone recommended me this oil although it doesn't specify how often to change it.

I changed its oil except cvt oil.
I need help regarding cvt oil as i dont know what to do and cant trust mechanics.
So kindly tell me what would be the cost of labour and oil.
Moreover what changes would take place after changing cvt oil. Like increased mileage ? Smooth drive or what?

Mechanics here in peshawar are telling me not to go for cvt oil change as they result in faulty transmission i am confused what to do

so i've been driving with extremely light foot,i never let the rpm cross 1.5 at max, i am getting 16km/l+ with AC in city and by city i mean extreme traffic with stops of more then 5 mins per signal.

I wanted to ask couple of things, when's the oil change + airfilter recommended, 6 months or 5000KM ? same goes for CVT and brake fluid, do i need to change them often ? any special maintenance needed for winters?

Look at the thread mashriqain linked and follow the steps exactly like that and nothing will happen to your transmission. If your mechanic(s) are recommending not to go for oil change then they're are incompetent.

I'll suggest visiting your local Peshawar Toyota dealership, the mechanics there must have gotten training from IMC on how to change new CVT altis's CVT oil.

Same case here... I do have the subscription here + Tapatalk, never notified me... :-/

According to Toyota Maintenance Schedule for most Corolla/Prius models based in EU, brake fluid change interval is every 2 years or 30k kilometers :|, whichever comes first...
