I have an axio 2007 X and I noticed that there is a motor attached to the trunk lid. However the electrical connection is missing. Does anyone know if the trunk opens automatically in the axio with the original remote key (like the premio). What is this motor for?

There is a tap button in the trunk so you can oprn ur trunk without keys or anything...the motor is to operate that.

am I reading correctly - Rs 3000/- labor to change tranny fluid - WHAT? - was it done by a HOT MODEL gyrating herself while she worked, Its a 30 minute job tops if you dont drop the filter.

anyway - for the throttle its best left alone (its electric in this car I beleive). Dont fix whats not broken. btw you paid Rs 2500/- for that.

MAN, Rs 5500/- for an hour - SIGN ME UP TO THAT JOB..

I can work 8 hours a day on this pay scale and make Rs 44000/- in a day, after taxes Im still golden infact kundan.

Didn't pay for TB cleaning, it wasn't in the invoice so free and didn't pay 3k for fluid change as well but those are Toyota 3S rates for those jobs.

I got the 40k km checkup which is for 4,500 and there are no labor charges during this checkup.

p.s So that's why people visit 'ustaad g' mechanics instead of dealerships

as a customer I would ask for the job hours mentioned in the service manual for exchanging CVTF and also for undoing the throttle assembly.

Then ask for their hourly rates - they cannot call it lumpsum as Toyota or any manufacturer has job hours which are also a tool to measure technician efficiency. e.g. If book time is 2 hours but the tech is taking 3 hours to do the job then the tech is inefficient or inexperienced and will be trained or replaced.

CVTF exchange (drain and fill) on these small cars is about 1 hour (book time) - Im sure they are not charging Rs 3000/hour.

On my next visit (after 20k KM's) I'll inquire about these things though they took roughly 1.5-2 hrs for the change of CVTF (they took jumma break in between).

Toyota 3S (Capital Motors ISD) quoted me Rs. 2,500 for 1 plug while I got em for Rs. 1,700 from @jz

Axio fan club is less active than some other fan clubs.. Seems like all the axio owners are pretty much satisfied and busy in enjoying their rides.
Something thats bugging my mind is that i have a feeling that my axio 07 gives me a braking effect around speed of 20kmph when reducing speed and not touching brake and accelerator pedals. The effect diminishes after the speed goes below 15kmph.
Is it a peculiarity of the super CVT-i transmission or is this just a misconception/ problem with me/ my car..

EDIT: problem solved, turns out the carbuerator was dirty,with a lil' help from my bro @bluestar, we sprayed some carbuerator cleaner spray...and my RPM is now fine

1: my axio luxel vibrates when on standby...its like race kam ha gari pe...how to increase the rpm?i mean race? While on stable...lights bhi fluctuate kr rhi hti ha only on standby.
2: baterry bhi down hojati br br so i changed baterry today its 60W baterry...still same problem.any idea?
