if you mean locally available cars, the Proton Gen2 is a good choice...its a 1.6 DOHC with some good acceleration...its good bang for the buck...hav yet to see a stock CIVIC come close or catch me on launch....

in common cars of pakistan,in sedans Altis is seriously fast and in hatchbacks cultus vxri is fast.....

and if we compare 1.8 civic latest wid altis latest , m comparing auto tranny here then altis is a winner for sure even On D and if u use tht swithctronic thing then oh my bye bye to civic ! in manual i believe civic will beat altis ! drove my friends civic 2day pick was good but not as good as altis's .... there wasnt a huge or big noticeable difference in 1.8 and 1.6 civic's pick and latest civic is really slow afta 175-180 gains speed very very slowly afta 180 ( auto )!!
