Interior quality of the material is the same as Toyota Vitz and other Japanese cars being imported. All are of hard FRP (Fire Resistant Plastic) the only difference is the texture of the dashboard. You can compare it with other Japanese hatchbacks.
Logic for Windows controls and Indicator stick being on the opposite is only known by FAW people but some of Chevrolet models have window controls at the same position and all German cars comes with the indicator sticks on the left side including European Mitsubishi Triton double cabin pick-up.
So guys don't be so worried about these small changes. You'll get use to this in few days.
