Why are we even comparing C-NCAP with European, American or even Australian standard as all of them have their own safety standard which differs with each other.

The plus point of V2 is that it is the safest and most economical car available in Pakistan may it be feature, specifications or Safety or pricing.
People who are saying it is a copy paste model are the one actually living in a fool's paradise.

Even the FAW's Sirius is Toyota technology as it's transmission has Daihatsu written on it. Even the new model of Sirius in China has Toyota Engine and Transmission.

there you go again, how can this result be fake if it is posted on cncap's website and points total to 31.2 minus the points awarded for seat-belt warning buzzer.

i had and have again posted a screenshot where it clearly leads to faw xiali whiezhi v2's crash test results on cncap's official website. you can try to follow the link yourself and post if the screenshot is tampered in someway.

we gotta stop being biased for either brand in making a comparison. for such price v2 is good on features, but one has to compromise on quality and stating that it is safer than other offerings on a market is misleading, it isn't. airbags don't pop in all accidents; quality sheet metal and structure design of a vehicle save one in such incidents; and God forbid if they do in a v2, one cannot expect them to be marginally safer than being in a similar car without having them balloons.

Kindly stop fooling around and misleading. If you don't like V2 then please keep your ideas and logics to yourself and stop ruining this blog and don't buy it.

I hope and wish that you are not bein paid by Suzuki to demoralize V2 owners. You statement about V2's airbags not popping out is totally biased and only in your imagination.
May ALLAH keep all V2 users safe and they may not be needing the airbags to be popping out.

Salam everyone,

Just a quick update. After aqeel.abbas bhai's pioneering effort with the rubbers, I was in Saddar RWP today and got it done as well. I had some stoppers installed under the hood (there is space for them and they cost about Rs. 10 each) and they nicely cushion the lid. I got rubbers installed in the doors which have reduced wind noise dramatically and I have to admit the doors do make a more satisfying sound when closing (I didn't have that much of a problem with the latter to begin with). The rubbers in the doors costs me 700 (for all doors) including installation which is nothing! So I urge all users who are unhappy with the wind noise to do the same.

People who don't own the V2 but find it necessary to badmouth it will continue to do so but the fact of the matter is I love this car with each passing day, particularly when I smoke PKDM Suzuki cars in the same price bracket. I met a very nice gentleman at the dealership in Isb the other day and he said he was trying to get the dealership for it too. He owns a lot of out of market cars like Mitsubishi Lancer etc. and he is impressed with V2. I really feel sorry for those people who take it upon themselves to waste their time voicing their ugly biased opinions instead of speaking based on facts and figures. Anyways brotherly love to all V2 owners, let's keep filling this thread with good and factual reviews. Peace

did you read what i wrote carefully and completely? i said airbags don't pop every time a car gets in an accident but mostly in front crashes that too when the crash' intensity passes a certain threshold as programmed in airbag controller. it is same for all cars, i just said that airbags in faw v2 aren't effective as any other cars.

I don't own a V2 neither am I a fanboy of any particular brand, but one thing is for sure. If I have to opt for a brand new hatch, instead of spending 7+ lakhs on a Mehran, I will buy V2 straight away by adding extra money because it is totally worth it.

You are not happy with Suzuki, you are not happy with FAW, you are not happy with JDMs.... You are confused man.

So please keep your suggestions and analysis to yourself. We the V2 users are happy with our V2s.

It surely is an open forum but that doesn't mean that you keep on demoralizing the V2 owners with your negative analysis. I don't know where you getting the data of cheap quality because you don't even own a V2 or probably you don't even own a car.

I appreciate your concern regarding the prospect buyer but please stop embarrassing yourself.

You surely seems to be on Suzuki's payroll. If not then please go on their forum tell the users about their pathetic 30 year old models.
