Till now, v2 has shown nothing impressive in the car market. Seems very very difficult to introduce anything so expensive i.e. a sedan

Sorry bro, but situation is disappointing. Also it seems FAW is not interested in marketing its cars properly. No marketing means death to a product no matter how worthy it is

The Sedan, Besturn B30 to be launched by Al-Haj FAW in 2018 is reported to be priced around PKR 1.7 to 2.0 million. Being a 1600 cc vehicle the registration will cost roughly around 70k rupees. The car would cost at around 2.1 rupees. Although it would provide bang for the buck yet it would be a daunting task for Al-Haj FAW to carve their market niche in a market like ours, against Toyotas & Hondas. Al-Haj FAW would have to work really hard, specially on their marketing.

Nonetheless, wishing the best to Al-Haj FAW for this bold decision and praying that this will prove as a breath of fresh air for our stagnant local car market.

Who would buy FAW in that price range? Price is the only thing which helps Chinese products to sell, it shouldnt be more than 1.5 m imo.

Chinese car in 2.1 million

one would preferred to buy Honda Civic 1.8 i-VTEC in 2.3 million..rather besturn 1.6 in 2.1 million

Lets see what happens..but we have seen almost zero sales of sedan of a company like Chevy i.e. optra..Kia Spectra, one of the best machines failed badly... So, for sedan, only corolla or honda..this is actual reality of paki

I have a quick question. I am trying to find sunshades for my v2. There are none available for v2 and i have tried using swift and vitz sunshades but they dont fit either. Do you know where i can buy them or if any other car's will fit?

They can strip down the 1.6 and fit the 1.3, If it can pull corolla then it can be suitable for B30 also, although will be a slow elephant but can keep the price in 1.3 to 1.5mil bracket. Not many racers but a practical family sedan within budget

This little thing packs some serious punch!

My first ride on saeen sarkars highway and it was nice!

If not for three issues would have been perfect

1: ac bukwas!
2: air noise it was like driving through a freaking hurricane (no exaggeration)
3: noises from rear irritating!

Its comfortable its has super pick up!

And yes i am not getting good fuel avg...i am taking my car for first service on sat hope i get all the issues fixed!

Fuel average will be improve after 5k.
Cant say anything about ac. We are facing max temperature 28 faisalabad.
For noise you need to install extra door rubbers
