Brothers I intend to purchase v2
Need it recommendation regarding local assembling as the cbu's have poor ground clearance
Will it improve
2ndly after local assembling Will the ABS and airbags options remain available
When will the local assembling start means in what time will I get a local assembled v2 with improved clearance

Bro, never had issue with V2's ground clearance, it crosses all sort of speed breakers with ease. Plus it is provided with independent suspension.

Asalam-o-alekum...hope u all r doing well need your expert opinion as one of my office colleague looking to buy a new car and focusing on V2 but he little worried about part availability and all other issue specially in karachi market...fuel economy, resale...so i would appreciate you guys if u share pros n cons of V2

WS. Well body parts only available at dealerships, normal replacement parts like filters and break pads etc can be used of vitz or guard if one does not want to visit dealership for service.. fuel economy is excellent, in current Lahore traffic mine gives 14km/l with ac.. resale is not that much but will surely get better as more units are being sold plus the local assembling is also going to start from May as I have been told...

I dont think so, have driven 30k till now on almost every terrain... never faced any problem.. just once it touched a car breaker in Lahore, that too a temporary one made by some labourers near their construction site...

I found V2 definitely better than city and Vitz in ground clearance, visit the dealership and inspect the car than make a decision.

Again look at the data sheet comparison with cultus

The data sheet tell you the clearance without load on plain ground. The quality and design of suspension actually determine its performance in case of rough roads.

Rest the decision is yours. Even GLI do not have independent suspension.

Cultus for sure has better ground clearance than v2, m only saying that ground clearance is not an issue with v2, it has enough to deal with the stupid speed breakers.. neeche nai lgti.. not in my case atleast.

Well to be honest, I don't find an issue of resale coz there are not much cars on offer for resale. So haven't been able to find a single one in a stripped down price which you can say ... a throw away price. If anybody really believes, it doesn't have resale or won't even sale, plz find me a 2016 model within 7 to 8 lacs. Only then, I'll believe it has a serious resale issue

I had seen data sheets of celerio new cultus it has almost same clearance and v2 had better turning radius.

Avoid this car. The reason it looks to good to be true is because it is. Mine is now 2 years and six months old and it feels like it's 10 years old. The paint is starting to fade and rust in places, the brakes are terrible,(from day one) and so is the clutch. It has a cold start engine noise (since its first service) that will give you a heart attack but none of that compares to the absolutely terrible service you get from IMPERIAL who are the importers and service agents. DO NOT BUY THIS CAR.

Yaar....this person is a south african so he/she has this sort of opinion about this car.....since car manufacturing standards are high.....if you compare it with pakistani manufactured cars.....they are all like this.....so you can safely buy it here in pakistan....no difference between faw v2 or suzuki swift or honda city or even toyota corolla....yup corolla has the same 1.3 l engine on a bigger substandard body......

Any owner of V2 in Karachi that i can meet and see his car, really need a car and seriously considering it. But i frequent of fast roads and drive at 100 120, wind noise and breaks are a concern.

After reading about the New Cultus pricing, the FAW V2 starts looking to be a very attractive alternate at Rs 10,69,000. Today saw 2~3 in the evening in the Karachi DHA Khadda market area. They looked very nice especially in gun metal gray.
