Well i inspected this car in their showroom with great details and the built quality is so poor that this car will not last longer on the Pakistani roads and extreme climate. Starting from dash board to engine coils, door locks to suspension material all is so thin that it would not last Pakistani roads and climate. Its my perception based on an extensive experience of materials testing that this car will require heavy maintenance after couple of year. My belief got stronger when i saw that car which had no sign of wear or accident on body or rim but still its control arm was bent. Anyways, i wanted to buy this car but when i saw its built quality i simply decided not to take that risk :). Good luck to the owners and i wish my analysis gets wrong as many people bought and are buying this car and they should get the comfort for which they are paying for.

Crazycolour .. It can be damaged due to driver own negligence.. Do you like in PK? Roads over here are literally messed up .. Faw isnt a baby company. Don't degrade it like this ..drive it first and then decide .. Don't jump to the conclusion before proper evidence. Annay to nahin baitay Faw mai?it hasn't started floated yet in Pakistan and people have started bashing it.Its a wonderful car.

Passo is a beautiful car but it is still second hand, its under powered and sooner or later the Euro 4 unit would have to be replaced which cost US $ 1,000.

With all due respect I would disagree with your inspection on the V2 and after your analysis I really doubt you extensive experience on material testing. First of I would like to know on what your analysis is based on. I hope you are not comparing it to the high end luxury cars. If not then I would strongly disagree with your analysis as It has the same dashboard material as used in Toyota Vitz or Passo except that their textures are different.
It would be a lot helpful if you can also give your reviews on the materials used in the Suzuki models being sold here in Pakistan in the same price range like Cultus and Wagon-R. They are literally pathetic.
I have personally compared my V2 with 2008 Vitz and it has the same Plastic dashboard with the only difference of texture. Doors are heavier than Cultus, Wagon-R with safety beams. The door closing sound is a bit awkward but that is also due to single weather strip which I have installed from the market and now they sound as good as any other Japanese hatchback.

Would have been better, if you would have compared it with other available choices and compared an orange with an orange and and apple with an apple rather than discouraging other user who do not have that perception despite that they are using this car.

I agree, being a mechanical engineering student(studying materials and manufacturing process this semester) one cannot simply assume durability upon a showroom inspection(how thorough it could get at a showroom?? they wouldn't turn a car upside down or disassemble a whole axle + suspension components for you), it is about materials used not design that one could find flaws in at a glance, regarding sheet metal used(doors, body, hood etc) I felt its quality was better than whole lineup of suzuki(except swift), why doesn't it feel like that?? because its hinged too lightly so u don't have to slam the door and the rubber lining present isn't enough if u do.

I saw it for the first time in real the other day. Agreed it isn't premium with the exterior showing gaps in body panels, but then again its not meant to be premium. Its not worse than what we already see on road from Suzuki. Interior plastics gave the feel similar to imported Kei cars. Maybe the quality of plastics is inferior to the ones used in Kei cars but only time will tell. It can't possibly beat Cherry QQ or Adam Revo both of which I have seen shed plastic and crack dashboards clean from the joint under the windscreen.

Yes Chinese's quality is already questionable and paint job is also just like Suzuki...Swift is so far an exception in pak Suzuki line up
