FAW V2 Owner's Review

Actually we bought faw in family as we were going for wagon r was was Fugly...so we opted for V2. Price wise it was equal to wagon r and in everything else..it smokes wagon r

I don't know what kind of a feeling you are having with the steering, but steering getting harder/stiffer at high speeds is a safety feature and not a problem.

Yar i have other cars as well. Do we have anyone here who is coming to faw from swift corolla or city??? Steering gets heavier at low speeds for me and same happens on other car i checked

lol same here. in my budget i could get a wagon r so i went for v2 and i am very happy about it!

Yar i agree that swift misses on some basics but again all cars in Pakistan have problems. Engine was great though as I have a new city now and i still miss the punch of power Swift used to give. I never faced knocking with swift and ac was excellent as well. Coming to fae i loved its suspension as its 10 times better than swift but power was seriously low with ac . car has lower ground clearance due to better suspension. Car has excellent features including safety ones as well. I hate the bright green color scheme that makes driving heavily uncomfortable at night. So far we have driven around 2200kms and their is no rattling but every time there are five persons sitting with ac... We have to switch off ac to get some punch. 3rd and 4th gear seems ok. Steering response is worst ever of a car. Steering feels weird at high speeds and i dont knw the reason as showroom guy had no idea what a car should feel like

What about steering response bro? Till me exectly how it feels and yes badly waiting for a little bit review with swift which u give us thanks for it.And lastly how would u rate this car as compared to swift and city (current shape) as some people also said that this car has vitz engine and is really good at power and u said opposite of it when there r 4 people in the car than it is even slower then swift?
And I heard k this car is not having redline limiter yes if I m right then this is a big disadvantage as it can damage the engine if one forget to change gears on time while flooring m I right?
And do upload some interior+exterior of both cars

To all owners of V2. Brothers i have two cars at home, one is Cultus and other is Wagon R. I am about to sell Cultus and thinking about getting another Wagon R or Faw V2 for family. I need your honest opinions and suggestions about this car. Only thing i fear is that this car have bent tyres like somewhat diagonal. Is it a fault or something dangerous? as a picture is posted by crazy color in this forum of a black V2 which tyres are bent.

i have not seen any with bent wheels..maybe the car in the pic posted had an accident.

few questions, FAW had announced to start local assembly for light vehicles from december but nothing seen materialized yet, second, they announced sirius in 2013 and are still selling their 2013 models yet, does that mean they are still unable to sell even the first batch of import? that added with no advertisement makes me skeptic, third, i daily drive at least 50km on expressway and islamabad rawalpindi, have seen sirius once and faw twice in last 4 months. is sale not good enough yet?
