10.49K ex-factory and 25K freight charges. The claimed mileage in the brochure is 6.1L/100km (Combined Cycle: mixed highway and city driving) which comes to 16.3km/L...
To be launched next week according to FAW Twin City Motors, I-10, Isb. Red color on display there. Red and black colors are available for on-spot delivery, other colors available within one week of full payment. Looks alright, kinda like a cross between Swift and Vitz.
The interior looks plasticky, but so is the City interior, although the black color helps it save face, whereas the plasticky look is enhanced by the light gray color of the V2 interior. Fit of interior and exterior parts looks fine, doors close easily with a soft thump, much like Vitz etc.
The gear stick doesn't feel as sharp/snappy/responsive as Cultus/City whose sticks kinda find the slots and don't need to be pushed into the slot.
Interior night-lights are bright but would've looked awesome in orange or a shade of red...
When I visted the dealership, the display car was out of fuel, but a friend who visited just 15 minutes before me (and finished the petrol most probably :)) said that the engine sounded smooth and quiet, not much vibration and noise when revving the stationary car. The AC was quick and chilling. He couldn't test-drive as they'll offer a test vehicle after the official launch.
Overall, if it's reliable and can tough it out on Pakistani roads, FAW can have my money today
