Parts of it are planned and parts of it aren't. The same goes for Karachi and Lahore. 
Sure, and no one's denying the fact that we have a long way to go, but I'm afraid you failed to understand the point I was trying to make. Try reading up a little on the history of NYC, and the gentrification process that made it what it is today.
I'm afraid yours is the only kind that does not associate this country/ city with the big cities of the world; everyone else clearly does. It's not even about that, but since you brought it up, we're on our way there, and yes, this will take time, but we're on the right path. Atleast we aspire to achieve greatness and civility, thank you very much.

We have nothing to hide; everyone's perfectly aware of our situation, which I might add, is rather positive for a developing nation. I'm perfectly comfortable with facts, and I sleep like a baby, so feel free to drop a few if you wish to. I can too, you know. 
All this is making me hungry. I'm happy there's some kick-a** chicken and fish for lunch. YAY!
